Well, i took the time to check it out. They have some torrents of av stuff, but unless i am mistaken the selection is not spectacular. They don't specialize in gravure/AV by any chance, do they? :roll:

nope, they don't specialise in gravure or AV. there is a small amount of hentai/ JAV uploaded, but there's better JAV and gravure here in the various (http://forum.scanlover.com/viewforum.php?f=25) torrent (http://forum.scanlover.com/viewforum.php?f=26) forums (http://forum.scanlover.com/viewforum.php?f=24), and the there's much better hentai at boxtorrents (http://www.boxtorrents.com/) and deltaanime (http://datorrents.com/browse.asp) (altho box is currently down, as far as i can tell).

the primary advantage of asiandvd is that everything uploaded there is DVD size, and frequently ISO, so if you want to burn a DVD copy of the hentai that you found somewhere else, it's easiest to grab a new version from asiandvd, if it's available there.

a genuinely good site for JAV and hentai (other than scanlover, of course!) is Empornium (http://www.empornium.us/browse.php?c23=1&c29=1&incldead=0): you can filter yr search topics (the link i've provided is filtered for 'asian' and 'anime'); the torrents are well seeded and have a decent lifespan, there's a lot of material uploaded there, and most torrents have screenshots: so you've got an idea of what yr getting before you download. Empornium is a ratio site, tho: so you have to sign up, and keep yr ratio decent, and they frown on such things as using DHT or reposting torrents on different trackers/ forums; and (like most ratio sites) they're quite willing to ban users who break these rules. it does have some good content, tho.

Sounds like sites that I might go to. Do they have Hong Kong Cat III movies as well?

I've finally got around to seeing alot of movies thanks to this site.
They also have golden torrents occasionally, where you can download a movie and not have to worry about uploading the full amount back. Yes some take advantage of it but the movies they put it on are usually top notch! Fireworks (Hana-bi) was one for awhile and if I am not mistaken John Woo's The Killer still is! :beer:
