Semi-pro......half pro, half amateur...still innocent and enthusiastic. Does the photography (or modeling, or anything) partly for money but also for the art. An amateur never thinks of money, a professional would think of money most of the time. A semi-pro is in-between.

Actually, I tell people I'm a semi-pro photography because I occasionally get paid for it but don't actually make enough to live on it. That's my definition of the word.

If I didn't go to school and had a room mate then my job would be enough to support myself. I consider myself pretty amateur, but sure as hell better than your average camera wielder. I can't believe some of the crap people take, and I'm not even talking about teenagers on social networking sites.

I'm thinking of setting up a photo gallery on my website soon so when I do that I'll leave everyone to their opinions.
