These are the only ones I can think of at the moment... Most of the pictures I tend to save are of girls wearing the most traditional outfit of all... their birthday suits.

Well, I guess I love girls in either their birthday suit or with something on... they both turns me on, as long as they look natural and attractive.

It seems the nude pics in the forum receives more audience :-(

Qipao literally means the "Qi" people's dress. The Manchurians are called"Qi" people. Qipao is an adaptation of their national dress which usually covered the whole body. The modern form of "Qipao" is popularized during the 1920-1940 as contacts with the western culture (Probably in Shanghai) was developed. It become accepted as the Chinese national dress for women as it accentuates the beauty of the women's body. But straightly speaking it is not really the national dress for Han Chinese people (about 98 percent of the Chinese population). The true national dress for the Han is those one see in the classical Chinese operas or the classical martial art stories. The dresses are those worn by the Han people during the Ming, Song, Tang and Han dynasties. The traditional form of dresses was not encouraged during the Ching dynasty (Manchurians) who ruled China for nearly 400 years until the early 1900. However the image of Chinese men with long pigtails and Manchurian dresses were steoreotyped in the West as representing China. This is a distortion. Recently in China there is a movement to revive the traditional Han dresses. But Qipao would probably be still accepted as a form of national dress for women in China.

Snakek is right that "Qipao" is not the traditional / original costume of ethnic Han Chinese.Though a larger portion of my post in that thread are more of girls in Japanese kimono, but I really hope to see a bigger emphasis on girls in Manchu costumes (Qipao) & accesories (I'm quite low on this category of resources, I'lll appreciate you guys' kind contribution ;p).... That's why I've entitled the thread "East / North East Asia..." & the North east wilderness are where the Manchus came from.

Anyway, you can check my thread out at the above URL & I anticipate to see more nice post of cute asian girls in traditional costumes & accesories. Also, make this thread grow too :bounce:

1st time i really looked through this thread, some of those posts are really beautiful :thankyou:
here are a few very nice ones, they are what i have managed to get from a met-art japanese installation.

i think i will begin a new thread later of those. however moderators ,i don't think it goes in fetish. could you maybe suggest where i'd post them so they'd get maximum appreciation? essentially they are (i think) very atmospheric/artsy/aesthetic takes. on some level the girls look less model like-but thoroughly japanese. The photography is of highest order, but stylistically unusual.

if you have no idea what i'm blathering about, moderators....feel free to tell me so :grinno: :grinno:
