sorry Dyka for this but i just have to say that monkey80 i'm with you on this one, we all do it-that is spend hours at a time searching other forums for that little something that you know will be greatly enjoyed in any forum and after all we aint exclusive to any forum, and i know that people do get touchy about something that they posted is suddenly appearing in every other forum that they go to. thats life. ok if youve pissed someone off unintentionally and they let you know do show some respect for them by way of an apology-i did it when i first started posting and i made a very public apology to that person in my thread. so if someone dont want to share stuff with the rest of the world dont post in a very open forum-stick to your closed forums where only you a small circle of friends can drool in awe over something that only you possess.
now if that has offended anyone sorry, i remember how arrogant monkey80 used to be.......he got his shit together, put world domination aside for awhile & now we all love him (or her). so there you are

His post didn't seem like the ones he used to make. I didn't lock the thread because it was made by him. I would have locked it no matter who made it. He was asking someone to go to that other forum and start flaming. I've seen many times what happens when people actually follow through: trouble. Sometimes it's as small as a couple users getting in trouble on only one forum. Other times it leads to one of the forums getting DDoSed because people get pissed off.

If you want I can give you an example of the trouble it causes using an example straight from Downloadable Goodies way back when.

No matter who was posting what on whichever forum for whatever reason, I don't want SLF getting into mixes with other forums unless it's positive.

Last thing anyone wants is a war between forums. I've seen it happen with 4chan and it's not pretty...
