It doesn't exclusively sell JAV though.
Can't seem to find any hardcore material on it.
Very limited or no preview of titles.
Quite poor layout for a website.
Maybe you should suggest your friends to give the following a try:

http://www.asianscreens.com/home.asp

In the RAME FAQ (http://www.rame.net/library/misc/wherejp.html) the author claims that NBJ ripped him off. DMM does not ship outside of Japan. I've had good experiences with Japanese XXX DVD (http://av-megastore.ddo.jp/xxxdvd/search.html). They read and write English fluently, and will track down any DVD not listed on their site. You should make sure you know how to set up your computer for region free play.

Woah! Just in luck! I was looking for a site to buy a DVD from to ship to Australia...
I've been waiting for Nike to realise the Time Stop Series Part 8 for months.. and it would appear that he's not going to :(
I love the series heaps... so I guess I will just have to buy it >.<

"Jikan yo tomare! part 8" hasn't even been released on WinMX yet, so it may take a while to make it to torrent form. It is listed on All Japanese XXX DVD as VSPDS-283 selling for $27US plus $11 shipping. I think it takes 2 to 3 weeks for them to ship to Australia. Amazon won't ship adult DVDs abroad, and asianscreens doesn't seem to have it yet. Anyway, hope it works out.

I've bought a number of times from this japanese site before
http://www.office21.gr.jp/japan/2002/new.htm
They are based in japan (japanese) and can help you try to get any almost title that is sold in japan.
However they do charge an arm and leg for the service. But oh well, sometimes when you just need to see a certain movie, you will have to pay the price :P

I've bought a number of different videos from All Japanese XXX DVD (http://av-megastore.ddo.jp/xxxdvd/search.html). I sent them some special requests, and they emailed me back the next day, saying they had them. The DVDs showed up in my post about two weeks later wrapped in a plain brown wrapper addressed from "Cosmolink Sales." They can take off the DVD covers if you are worried about people opening the package. They are much cheaper than J-List and most other sites I've seen.

Japanese DVDs are region 2, and Australian DVDs are region 4 I believe. You will need to buy a DVD player that has a region-free hack, or you can download software that will make your computer DVD drive region-free.
In general, codecs are not a problem with DVDs. Media players like Media Player Classic or Windows Media Player can play almost any DVD without having to download special codecs. I believe the video on many DVDs is mpeg-2, and the audio mpeg-1 layer 2.

First of all, this is NOT an advertisement or spam for any particular site. But I just wanted to tell you all that until recently I was using Japavs for my DVDs. It used to be great but they stopped updating a couple of months ago. So I tried another site - Jappydolls. Very good service. Got 12 DVDs from them. Took about ten days to arrive from the States to Europe. No complaints and the price was good. As I say, I have no connection with this company - I'm just a customer. But worth knowing if, like me, you prefer to order real DVDs rather than downloads.

I was about to reply to this thread (albeit as a question and not a suggestion): http://forum.scanlover.com/showthread.php?t=16436
I'll just add my question to this new thread instead. (Mods, feel free to merge.)
Looks like Jappydolls is IV only. I'm looking for JAV, some recent blu-rays and maybe some older DVDs. So far I've found AVparadise (http://www.avparadise.com/), Squareplus (http://www.squareplus.net/), or All Japanese XXX (http://av-megastore.ddo.jp/xxxdvd/nsearch.html). Anyone have any input or other suggestions?

I'm only interested in IV's but here are two sites I've dealt with that also stock HC.
http://asianscreens.com/home.asp Asianscreens has regular updates, but it's in California and they rip the DVDs themselves- I don't know if this is 100% legal, but similarly packaged (non- HC) DVDs are available in every grocery store in Little Tokyo. Don't even get me started on the rather questionably legal stuff one can find in Chinatown.
The second site, with which you may already be familiar is http://www.jlist.com/ They're located in Japan, but some items shipped out of San Diego at one time- I don't know if this is still the case. They have a large selection of standard DVDs and Blu-Rays. Many of the standard DVDs are NTSC and Region 2 only, so playback might be an issue if all you have is a PAL player and no DVD drive in your computer. Also, the shipping charges out of Japan tend to be rather high.
In the interest of full disclosure, my only connection to either site is as a customer.
