This was really good. There are a lot of subtle things going on inside this that I don't think will be evident to anyone who hasn't spent years living in Japan. Still, if you're interested in Japan and have been here, it's worth watching. Glad to see too that the Japanese are getting more comfortable with mocking their own "sacred traditions". I especially like the "samuai no kuni dakara" remarks.

Is the free salt outside the sushi bar true? It's hard to imagine people grabbing some salt right before going home. :shock:

The salt is there, but not for you to eat....
I loved this video cuz there is at least some truth in most of the things they are making fun of :)

Many of the more traditional establishments put small salt towers by the entrance. And no, it's not for EATING! This is a joke!
