:oy:

Some of their women give me nightmares... Fortunately, I don't haveta live with them.

As I have mentioned elsewhere in this forum, I was a youngster in the 50's and 60's, and raised both in the midwest and the south.

We were taught in those days, what was supposedly the perfect woman, a woman we were supposed to dream for.

Here, is a lil representation of this perfect woman, taken directly from a magazine from those days.

As I look at this picture... of this representation of the "ideal & perfect" woman, today... I say to myself...

OldiesLover
04-06-2008, 08:57 PM
Hummm... This lil dream is about some strange shit...

I've always felt that people are way too hung up with negativity on sex... When some images should be shown with the size of a building. Of course, there are way too many stupid people out there, aren't there?

OldiesLover
04-07-2008, 12:58 AM
Why is it that just as we're gonna finish up a busy day with some great sex... that we haveta do some of the unsexiest of chores?
:miserable:

Sleep Experts, or let's say Dream Experts, say that we dream about humans with a super human perspective. Inotherwords, we dream about people doin' things that most people cannot do. These Experts have no idea why we do this, although some believe it's connected to the human need to believe in Gods or a God.

OldiesLover
04-07-2008, 01:13 AM
In this same line of thought, these Dream Experts say we can have super human strength when dreaming.

OldiesLover
04-07-2008, 01:16 AM
There's one thing I've found out about white women... No matter what they do, they can never be like Asian women. Yet, some of them try...

OldiesLover
04-07-2008, 01:19 AM
Here's a very nice chair...

OldiesLover
04-07-2008, 01:23 AM
Before I get distracted, the Dream Experts I was just talkin' about, also say that we are usually only observers in our dreams.

Hence, we are watching what's going on in our dreams much more that being involved with what's going on. You know... Sorta like real life.

OldiesLover
04-07-2008, 01:26 AM
Therefore, much of our dreams are in shadows or shades of darkness.

OldiesLover
04-07-2008, 01:29 AM
People in our dreams, especially people we know, are often out of direct indentification. While dreaming, we use a sixth sense to know who we are with inside our dreams.

OldiesLover
04-07-2008, 01:34 AM
So, while in our dreamstates, we can do things with others inside our dreams we wouldn't even consider in real life. Or at least, not consciously.

Sub-consciously? Well, that's another matter all together.
:snicker:

OldiesLover
04-07-2008, 01:56 AM
Additionally, these Dream Experts say that when we look at someone inside our dreams, we can often understand what they're thinking.

Supposedly, we carry this skill throughout our wake state, so we're always thinking we know what people are thinking, when in reality, very rarely do we know what other people are really thinking about, including those closest to us.
:oy:

OldiesLover
04-07-2008, 02:00 AM
If you wish ta test what I'm talking about, that's simple.

:full:

That a look at this lil babe. Now: What is she thinking about?

I have stayed in hundreds of different motels and hotels over the years, for literally 1000's of nights. Countless times, I took a piece of paper with the name of the city I was in written on it, and placed it next to my bed... so incase I woke up during the night, I would remember where I was. (And her name.)

They say that all fetishes are rooted in your dreams. This strikes me as quite odd... since I rarely dream about fetishes. But many people I have talked to about this, dream about their fetishes all the time.

Sometimes, ya just shake your head... and keep goin'.

Another interestin' topic is gender in dreams. Again, goin' to the Dream Experts, they say many people, probably a very large percentage of people, change genders during their dreams.

Supposedly, this is true no matter what your gender and sexual attractions. Or inotherwords, both hetro and homosexual people experience gender changes during some dreams.

Again, these Dream Experts are at somewhat of a loss as to why this happens.

Ahhh... My Beautiful Ladies have come ta see me in my quiet lil Strange Dream Thread.
:love::love::love:

Well, as my wise ladies know, there's a big difference between dreams and fantasies.

Fantasies are something we have in our Awake State and are much more controllable.

Dreams are something we have inside our Dream State while we're asleep, and are therefore... something we have almost no control over.

Let me take your question, part a). Per se, I do not recall ever having a dream about sex in a Dressing Room. As a matter of fact, I've never had much of a fantasy about sex in a Dressing Room. Although, I have had sex in a Dressing Room a few times, so I don't have much of a Fantasy Base to work with.

You see, I feel that for good fantasies, you need to fantasize about something you've never done before. Hence... you can fantasize about it without reality breaking the spell. Once you've done it, especially a few times, you don't have much of a base to fantasize from anymore. You go off to fantasize about something else. Something you've never done before.

The same goes for your b) and c). Although I once had these fantasies, now that I've had sex in all of these various situations, I don't fantasize much about them anymore.
:cry::cry::cry:

Dreams... Come from a collection of craziness in your brain, of which you have very little control of.

As I've mentioned, and will probably discuss more later on, there are a number of Types of Dreams, such as; Motel Dreams and Mirror Dreams.

Another type of dream is: Flying Dreams.

Believe it or not, Flying Dreams are found ta be quite common.

Dream vs Fantasy ..................................... So about dreaming - I realize that this is OldiesLover thread - but it is interesting about "oldieslover" dreams - and the " oldies7ladies" brought up "fantasy" also - so what is a dream???????????????????

What is a Dream?

We all dream. Every night - as we dim the light of consciousness - we enter the realm of the dream. In this dream state our imagination runs free with little or no interference from our conscious mind. In the morning, when we awaken and return to consciousness, we may bring with us a recollection of the wanderings of our imagination - we remember the dream.

To dream is natural, it is a universal experience. All people of all cultures enter into this dream state when they sleep. As sleep research has shown even animal dreams. How we regard the dream, however, varies from culture to culture and from person to person.

Unfortunately most of us remain blissfully unaware of our dreams - we fail to remember them. Even if we do remember a dream it is typically dismissed as meaningless and unimportant. For those of us who do place an importance on dream it still remains a mystery. So what is a dream?

Dreams - God's forgotten language

Originally the dream was held to be the voice of God. Most indigenous cultures hold that the dream is sent by the Great Spirit and serves to offer advice and instruction.
This idea of the divinity of the dream can also to be found in ancient Egyptian and Greek society.

In the Old Testament Jacob interprets a dream for the Egyptian pharaoh. Jacob explains that God has spoken to the pharaoh and warned of seven years of prosperity to be followed by seven years of famine.

In Egypt and Greece the dream was considered as a message from the gods. In both Egyptian and Greek society there existed temples where one would go to dream and receive healing or instruction from the gods. Homers Iliad (8th century BC) tells the story of Agamemnon who receives instruction from Zeus through a dream. Hippocrates, the father of modern medicine, used dreams as a diagnostic aid.

The Christian tradition the dream was thought of as the word of God, or the work of the devil. St. John Chrysostom preached that God revealed himself through dreams whilst other church fathers, such as Martin Luther, viewed the dream as the work, not of God, but the Devil. According to Luther it was the church, and only the church, who was the conduit of God's word. For Luther revelations made to people in dreams could only be diabolic.

In the near East the dream was considered to be a source of divine inspiration. Mohammed, the founding prophet of the Islamic culture, is said to have received much of what is written in the Koran through his dreams.

The Rediscovery of the Dream

In the Christian epoch the church and its scriptures supplanted the importance of the dream. The dominance of Christianity obscured the divinity of the dream, which was now studied by only the superstitious. The rise of rationalism and science further undermined the value of the dream. To this day scepticism toward the value dream remains the predominant attitude.

In the early part of this century, however, the dream was championed by two "TRULY " great psychologists, Sigmund Freud (sorta like) and Carl Jung (who was totally brilliant).

For Freud looked at the dream in the concept that the dream revealed that which the dreamer would rather keep hidden. By exploring the dream one was forced to face that which was suppressed and rejected within oneself.

Then Carl Jung had truly a totally another theory. Jung felt that the dream acted as a mirror for the ego - revealing that which was missing within the consciousness of the dreamer. For Jung the dream acted as a teacher and guide on the road toward wholeness. With the work of both Jung and Freud the dream regained its status as a source of wisdom and healing.

Even science and rationalism has returned to valuing the dream. Research into sleep cycles and dream states has revealed that disturbed sleep, where dreaming phases are interrupted, result in more disturbances of the personality than disturbed sleep where non-dreaming phases are interrupted.

Dreams, Healing & Wholeness

In his work with both patients and clients, Dr. Jung witnessed the natural healing mechanism of the dream. The dream acted in such a way as to amend a lop sided or partial perspective on life. A series of dreams would develop, balance and refine the conscious awareness of the dreamer. Jung had rediscovered the age old wisdom of the dream and its capacity to heal and make whole.

In Dr. Jungs patients the dream imagery and themes would present themselves in such a way that that the healing of the psyche would proceed. As the therapist all Jung need do was to help and encourage his patients to understand their own dreams. For Jung it was the dreams, not the doctor, who was the healer.

NOTE: by saying this statement about the "dreams" are the "HEALER" does this mean that " OLDIESLOVER" dreams are HEALING "oldieslover"??????????

Having solved their original problems and balanced out their sanity many of Jungs patients continued on with their psychotherapeutic work with Jung. For they did not stop dreaming. Instead the dreams seemed to focus on a whole new set of untouched problems and issues. No sooner had one difficulty been resolved when another, of even greater complexity and depth, would present itself. And again the dream would provide the healing and answers.

In this pattern of raising one issue after another Jung recognised more than a healing mechanism at work within the dream. Apart from healing, the dreams also seemed to be encouraging and actively participating in the growth and development of the personality. Jung termed this inherent drive of the psyche as the force of individuation, the force by which we become whole and indivisible.

Both in himself and in his clients Jung pursued the way of the dream and became a student to its teachings. It was in this way that Jung helped to usher in the new religious paradigm, which has come to be known as the idea of Self-development.

Individuation & the Creation of Consciousness

In the beginning of time there was nothing, all was dark and still. At the heart of this darkness groped a god. Then there was light - and the whole of creation came into existence.

First there was nothing and then there was light - so runs the creation myth of almost every culture. Even western science postulates the idea of a Big Bang - an explosion of light from out of the void. Light emerging from darkness is a universal theme.

Light emerged from out of the darkness. Whilst we may never know the legitimacy of such a claim it does reflects the most basic of all psychological principles, that is, the known is born out of the unknown.

The psyche, or mind, is made up of two distinct fields- the conscious and the unconscious mind. The conscious mind is also referred to as the ego (from the Latin meaning 'I').

The ego, or conscious mind, represents our awareness and capacity for thought and self-reflection, whilst the unconscious houses our instinctive wisdom and patterns of behaviour.

The ego, as we now know it, is a relatively new development of the psyche. We have not always possessed the capacity for self-reflective thought. At some stage in our past we where in no position to have that most simple of thoughts - I am.

Just as light was born of the darkness the ego has formed from out of the matrix of the unconscious. This creation of consciousness is re-enacted with every new life. One need only witness the development of a young child to see this miracle take place.
The creation of consciousness is ongoing. If you look back upon yourself you will find that you are more aware now than you were say a year ago. Your not different, just more fully who you've always been.

Active within the unconscious is a creative force which seeks consciousness - the unconscious seeks to be made known. This drive toward consciousness is the force of individuation - the force by which we come to realise our greater potential.

The birth of the ego was only the start. Now we have reached a point where the collective ego, that is, the conscious awareness common to us all, is well developed - simply look at our culture, our technology and our history. Yet, despite our achievements, the latent potential of the unconscious is in no way exhausted. There is still plenty of darkness which seeks the light.

Meeting the Unconscious

The activity of the unconscious may be found within all aspects of our lives. It is there in our relationships, in our aspirations, our difficulties, health and the fate we attract. As Jung would often quote, called or uncalled God is always present.

The ego cannot escape its destined encounter with the unconscious. Take for example the problem of love and hate. What we fail to see in our selves we often find attractive in other. What we deny within we battle outwardly. So too, the circumstances of our life are often designed to teach us exactly what it is that we need to learn. Illness often conceals a hidden wisdom. The ego cannot escape the unconscious just as we cannot escape our own birth.

The ego's encounter with the unconscious need not be negative. There is the easy and the hard way and everything in between. In failing to open to the unconscious then it simply forces itself upon one. If ones attitude is willing then the encounter with the unconscious need not be forced. That is the problem. How does one open to the unconscious? Its like asking someone to find their way in the dark.

The way of the dream offers an alternative. For the dream belongs to the twilight zone of consciousness - where the ego and the unconscious meet.

The conscious element of the dream lies in its remembrance, the unconscious element lies in its mystery and perplexity. Half conscious, half unconscious, the dream acts as a bridge between the known and the unknown.

To listen to ones dreams is to listen to the unconscious. Through doing so one relieves the need for the unconscious to force itself upon you.

Ahhh... HongKongDr, Welcome To OldiesLover's Strange Dreams. I'm glad you an Oldies Ladies have stepped into my quiet lil hideaway thread.

Carl Jung hey? Wasn't he Sigmund Freud's gay lover, and after a 6 year relationship, they got into a lover's quarrel... and hence, we now have Psychiatrists(?).
:evillaugh:

Having read up on sleep and dreaming quite a bit over the past 30 years or so, I have a sneaky feeling that Psychiatrists and the like... Have absolutely no clue as to what dreams are really all about. It's just that they won't come out and say it.

For example... What would they say about this Dream?

As HongKongDr has brought to our attention, historical figures such as Sigmund Freud, Carl Jung and Edgar Cayce... Plus, all sorts of other religious characters, have purported they know the Mystery Behind Dreams.

Even countless numbers of scientists and medical experts have proclaimed the answers.

However, none of them have an explaination as to why do babies dream. We know they do... But what could they possibly be dreaming about? They have no memories. They have no life experiences. Supposedly, they have nothing to dream about... So why are they always dreaming?

Well here we go again with " oldieslover " - brings up the question and we love to find an answer for "oldieslover " questions - (hehe) -

So this might be the answer - this might not be the answer - but it is a way - it might not be " THE WAY " - it might not be " YOUR WAY " - but it is "A WAY" .....................................

Dreams & babies...................................

From little smiles to frowns, and fluttering eyes to twitches, the face of a sleeping baby is very expressive. What is happening during this time? The research that endeavors to answer this question tells us quite a bit about the stages of sleep. What it cannot tell us definitively is whether babies are actually dreaming while they sleep.

Sleep Stages

Sleep is divided into two stages – active sleep and quiet sleep. Active sleep is characterized by rapid movement of the eye and is also known as rapid eye movement or REM sleep. Dreaming occurs during this stage. Non-REM sleep, also called quiet sleep, consists of four phases: drowsiness, light sleep, deep sleep and very deep sleep.

Newborn sleep patterns start with a brief REM stage, progress through the four stages of quiet sleep, and move into REM sleep to begin the whole cycle again.

The exact function of REM sleep has been debated, but all researchers recognize its importance. Theories suggest that REM sleep assists with brain development, even affecting babies in utero. Researchers credit REM sleep with providing visual imagery that helps the mental development of the fetus.

This theory is supported by further research that indicates that as we age, we require less REM sleep. Fetuses have about 100% REM sleep, two-year-olds 25%, adults 20% and the elderly about 15%. In other words, the body provides babies with more REM sleep because it is needed for their rapid brain development. As brain development slows, the amount of REM sleep decreases, diminishing almost to adult levels by the toddler years.

REM and Dreams

Researchers know that older children and adults have vivid dreams during REM sleep. Some research suggests that the same may not be true of newborns. According to an Australian study, the part of the brain that is active during adult REM sleep is not as active during newborn REM sleep. The study’s authors question whether newborns are dreaming in the sense that we recognize it.

Because infants have large amounts of REM sleep, most people choose to believe that they dream, much like adults do. Some think that babies in utero dream about the light they see and the sounds they hear – heartbeats, voices and music. After they’re born their dreams are likely influenced by the wide variety of sensory stimulation they encounter.

REM and Wakefulness

Babies spend more time in REM sleep and, until about three months of age, need to go through an REM phase before entering quiet sleep. With the greater amount of REM sleep comes more chances that babies will be roused from sleep throughout the night as they move between sleep stages. (Parents of sleepless newborns may find comfort in knowing that they are struggling against biology and not a medical problem.)

Babies and Bad Dreams

Research and anecdotal evidence show that nightmares or “bad dreams” occur most frequently between three and five years of age. Anyone who has heard a young baby awaken with a loud cry would disagree, as does pediatrician Alan Greene.

Dr. Greene believes that babies can and do have nightmares. Babies can get stress from pain, hunger and being left alone. Stress can lead to tears and in Dr. Greene’s words, “…anything worth crying about is worth dreaming about.” He feels that babies’ brains address both the pleasant and unpleasant things in their lives through dreams.

Sleep Like a Baby?

Frequent waking and brain development, REM, non-REM, dreaming or not, there is a lot going on during an infant’s sleep. All that activity makes one wonder where the expression “sleep like a baby” ever came from, doesn’t it?

See if we can figure out this dream with the woman and bondage - hum -
****************************
BONDAGE: Restriction, Forceful limitation -

NAKED: Public Display.. Exposed.. Vulnerable.. loss of ambitions.

MAKEUP: Feminine projection. Improved image. How do you want to
be seeing in the outside world.

HANGING: Lack of communication... Change in own environment.
Must control passions.

ROPE: Connecting. Restraint. Looking for more control......

Again, a very interestin' analysis ladies.

Here's some some Polaroid material, which obviously loses some of its effect when converted to digital. There's nothing like Polaroid hardcopy.

There is another interesting thing that happens in many dreams... It's a splitting-up of the body into parts. Again, the Dream Experts have no answers as to why this happens, nor why some people have it and some don't.

And no, they have not found any connect to split personalities.

The Dream Experts do generally agree that fears and other phobias do often work their way into our dreams.

For example, I have a phobia about snakes. I hate the lil fuckers. If one gets within a 100 yards and I know about it... its ass is mine.

Let me let you in on a lil secret, a lil bit of knowledge that took me years to research, and decades to understand. I know this will sound quite strange, but bear with me a moment. Here it is...

Sleep, controls your life.

Yes my friends, if you begin to understand your sleep and your dreaming as a result of your sleep, you will begin to understand your brain, and hence, begin to understand yourself and how you function in everyday reality (or as the case with some of you guys... how you malfunction in every day reality.).

OldiesLover
04-23-2008, 01:05 AM
Scientists have proven that we bearly perceive 7% of what is around us. However, as we go without sleep, this perception percentage goes up.

If you can fight off the urge to sleep, once you have gone 24 to 36 hours without sleep, you will begin to perceive many things that have always been there, but really never seen. Try going 48 to 72 hours without sleep sometime... and see what you see.

Then, when you do go to sleep, your brain will defragment at lightening speed. Your memory will explode into a collage of perceptions and images.

It is inside this Brain World my friends, where all your understanding resides.

Therefore, to understand yourself and reality around you, you must understand your Sleep & Dream World. It is your Pathway to Self Understanding.
:nice:

OldiesLover
04-23-2008, 01:13 AM
Yes my friends, all your questions, and all your answers... rest inside your brains. And the only way to reach into your brain and find out what makes you tick, is to get into your sleeping state and hit your ENTER Button.

Just don't hit your DELETE Button by mistake.
:evillaugh:

OldiesLover
04-23-2008, 01:20 AM
So my friends, if you are brave, if you trully wish to understand life as no religion or government can teach you... If you wish to look into your own mirror of the mind... go to sleep...

And then... Open Your Eyes And Look Into Your Mirror.
:dizzy::dizzy::dizzy:

Well Mr. OldieLover, You truly do have a point here about " pathway to self understanding " !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BUT

Are you willing to surrender the illusions of the ego and open yourself to experience heaven on earth?

Because there is truly a call for us all is to move beyond the dream of duality and to awaken to the "TRUE" truth that we are all bonded equal in wholeness and love.

For, as soon as there is an awareness within YOURSELF that of wholeness and love, every moment will "TRULY" become sacred within YOUR life and everyone "ELSES" life around you.

Living our lives to the fullest begins with the understanding that we are more than our physical bodies, our thoughts and our emotions.

There is "TRULY" so much more unexplored potential in all of us, just waiting to be tapped. A new opportunity awaits us all to go beyond that so called pain and suffering.

If "YOU" as a person dwells at the superficial layers of existence, with disempowering beliefs, values, prejudices, fears and insecurities, then "YOU" will project this to the world & the result will be a perceived world of fear, suffering & illusion.

YOU and every "ONE" and EACH of YOU so called "Human" beings that even dare to to explore beyond this "TRUE" dream of duality helps the whole of humanity perceive what it is to be fully human.

There are some of YOU that are called to have YOUR own deep desire and commitment to reach beyond the dream & awaken to the truth of who YOU and WE "TRULY" really are.......and this "thoughtform" is truly a " CREATION" of going towards this " Pathway to TOTAL MASTERY " of being HUMAN.......................

Ultimately the awakening or self actualizing process is an individual one and requires the willingness to make a journey in each moment from a concept of LIVING in "FEAR" of your dreams and life to a "thoughtform of Living in " LOVE ".

It is a pathway of higher consciousness which cultivates personal responsibility, self empowerment and self discipline through the development of self awareness and communication with your higher conscious self.

All the elements of YOUR life are "TRULY" designed to produce a positive and lasting results and these "INNER DREAMS" and " THOUGHTS" and " FEELINGS" and LIVING FORMATIONS" are what will provide keys that progressively unlock "YOUR" "TRUE" human, metaphysical and spiritual potential.

YOU have always had within you the true model that is able within "YOUR" dream state and dream world to have those specific skills and ability to do transformative ability to make " TRUE" behavioural change thoughtform techniques that will progressively move "YOU" as a human being closer toward a state of higher conscious expression and self mastery.

Each "TRUE" dream that you take has always provided you with the stepping stones that assist you to connect deeper and more fully with your inner essence so that you can raise your awareness beyond the initial dream. This "thoughtform" which you have will bring you more love, and ' TRUE" abundance and joy into your life.

These "thoughtforms" which you have with your "Dreams" also provide a platform for self healing of the physical and emotional body.

You have this ability to improve your life, embark on a very "enriching & rewarding" spiritual path...... or have been immersed in your 'dreams' in a spirituality and self development "thoughtform" for so many years that you have found yourself in a "stalemate" concept and not able to loosen that "ONE" stone that will help you to "TRULY" experience freedom from the thought structures and patterns that have kept the illusion of suffering and fear alive.

There are many stages to awakening and no one will make this journey for you.

LOVE OR FEAR – THE CHOICE IS YOURS

For those that choose to release the illusions of the ego, there can only be oneness.

You need to truly come forth and share with "EVERYONE" these "PATHWAYS" that you have which lead you into a " TRUE " and " MEANINGFUL" expansion of love, forgiveness, acceptance, conscious creation and personal mastery.

It is your life -

It is your beginning -

It is your " DREAM " and your " THOUGHTFORM" and YOUR " PATHWAY " to beginning -

Join - and OPEN yourself to a truly new world and a new way of seeing - .

Now here's something I dream about a lot. Yes, sharks. believe it or not... I love sharks.

Well "Oldieslover" has come up with another thought form for us to think and talk about - SHARKS in DREAMS .............................................

When you look at what " JUNG " talked about with dreams and symbols - the symbol of the SHARK or SHARKS comes up with:

Sharks can often symbolise resentments and bad feelings which are building up in our minds. They refer to bad moods and a sense that trouble is about to happen. They can also link to risk in general and emotional doubts and worries.

Some of the key questions to think about when you "dream about sharks" to help you make associations (pick the one question that makes the most sense to you):
- Was there some situation the day before the dream where you really sensed danger?

- What incidents are you currently trying to avoid because they will upset people emotionally?

- Is there a relationship that is causing you trouble right now? Where you cannot seem to talk openly?

- How has trouble been brewing?

***************
Some KEY WORDS :

a) Resentments,
b) Dangerous emotional waters,
c) Hesitant,
d) Sensing danger
(write down some quotes that capture your key feelingson issues that have been dominating your mind. Then see if any of these words could appear in those quotes................................

*******************************
Then there are so called " KEY PHRASES" (Pick a quote which captures your feelings right now. Think especially of the day before you had the dream about the shark) :

- "she was really resentful yesterday"

- "I just sensed danger"

- "I just had some very real doubts about doing that"

- "I knew trouble was brewing"

- "she just would not talk about it"

- "we may get into trouble"

- "I am scared about it"

- "I am hesitant to take on such a challenge"

*****************************************
So there are many aspects to how come a certain object or subject or item comes up in your dreams -

it is something to think about -

Have a wonderful sleep tonight and see if there is anything in your dream tonight - that happened in this day or yesterday !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Blessings and Hugs -

Dear " OLDIESLOVER " -

I see the girls are writing about your dreams for you..... (hehe).....
but
to tell you the truth here i guess i want to be a part of this also - since all of us study medicine and lately most of us have studied "psychology" and various aspects of this field - "dream therapy or dream analysis " is one of them that we are working on..............................

When you "think" the next morning about the dream that you had last night you are "TRULY" entering into a very " Mysterious & Fascinating " world of dreams where the " RULES" (if you want to say there are rules here) of " REALITY" do not apply at all - these are dreams so there is NOT really a concept of " reality " involved with the dreams..............

Sometimes you want to make sense of your dreams and then you as a person try to achieve a better understanding about what YOUR dreams are doing or saying to YOU....................

There are people out there in this world who are "dedicated" to helping a person find the " KEYS" to unlocking and helping YOU interpreting the meaning of your dreams.

BUT

Realize that these dreams are YOURS and only YOURS - and these dreams are of YOUR mind........... and these dreams here that "OLDIESLOVER" is talking about are truly just " OldiesLover" dreams - and some of them are very very very " interesting "....................to say the least.............

Always realize that YOUR dreams are Unique.......... No other individual can have YOUR brackground, YOUR emotions, or YOUR experiences of life....... and pastlife (as some of you might also believe)...... some of you when you dream might believe that this dream is of a pastlive of YOU when you were here on this planet before - or a Pre dream of what your " next life " might be after you move on from this plane to the next plane.......

Every dream is connected with your own " REALITY " ................. thus in wanting to "interpreting your special dreams, it is very important to draw from your own personal life and experiences that YOU have had and only YOU have had.... not someone else........................

Always remember... that a dream unifies the "TRUENESS" of the Body, Mind, and Spirit........ The deram provides you with insight into ourselves and "TRUE" means for self-exploration.

In understanding and accepting YOUR dreams, YOU (as a person) will have a better understanding and discovery of your own " INNER TRUE SELF ".

So, explore......discover.... have fun.... make friends, and find out what is in your dream and what YOUR dream is and where your dream is......

Hummm.... Well, to tell ya the truth Ladies, I don't really feel resentments with sharks in my dreams... I feel empowerment. Sharks are powerful animals who live life on their own terms.

Sharks are focused ever-on-the-move machines... who command their environment.

Sharks are loners. They do not school together (Except in one exceptional case with Hammerhead sharks.), yet they can work as a group. However, for the most part, sharks are very individualistic and determined beings.

Although, remember, I was born in The Year Of The Tiger!

Yes HongKongDr, you have touched upon a very very important point. Dreams, while suspended into your Sleep State, are extremely individualistic.

After all, no one nor nothing... can control your dreams. No one nor nothing can tell you what, why, when, where or how to dream. No one nor nothing can tell you yes or no, right or wrong... this or that.

Dreams are 100% individualistic, or inotherwords.... Dreams are 100% you. Dreams are perhaps the only single thing in your World... you can say this about.

Many people report a type of Dream that can only be called... Empty or better yet... Nothingness.

Yes, many people report dreaming inside a sleep, where they're fast asleep, but more importantly, they know they're asleep. However, nothing is there.

There is nothing to see, feel or sense. Just plain nothing...
:oy:

OldiesLover

Please understand, this is nothing like the Floating Dream or the Flying Dream.

A Nothing Dream is exactly that... It is Totally, Nothing.

Some people are so shakin' by this nothingness... They actually see the Nothing Dream as an intense nightmare and wake up in emotional duress.

Oddly enough, people who have been revived from being almost dead... also report this so-called nothingness.

However, the Flying Dream is usually considered a delightful Dream. It is rarely considered a nightmare.

It is considered beneficial for your dreaming experiences, if you can relax and sorta meditate during the day.

Another fairly common dream, although I rarely have such a dream... Is The Statue Dream.

In a Statue Dream, everyone is like stone. Kinda frozen in time.

Another example is in movies where everyone is frozen in time except for one person.

As a matter of fact, the Statue Dream was once thought to be a modern type dream originating because of time travel movies. However, some studies of various ancient Greek and Chinese texts, have found that The Statue Dream goes way back to the our origins.

Now, one of the theories is that The Statue Dream originates in our very old DNA Code from faking out predators by remaining frozen and totally still.

This of course is only one of many possibilities.

Inside The Statue Dream, people may or may not look like stone. However, people are typically frozen, often in fairly odd stances, and if you try to get them to move... They won't.

Additionaly, the statue entities are often, not human, or not totally human.

Another Nothingness Dream...
:exhausted:

As with all types of dreams, each type can mix with other types of dreams. Here again is an example, a Nothingness Dream along with a Statue Dream.

Another strange oddity about dreams is the interactions between people inside dreams.

In some cases, people cannot react emotionally inside their dreams whatsoever, almost like their emotions are bound together, unable to escape...

Some Dream Experts claim that dreams are abstract observations, where very little can be clearly visualized. Again, like the collage I mentioned earlier.

All this being said, i rarely have abstract dreams. Most of my dreams are quite clear and visually detailed. however, there is often one or two things that don't quite equal reality.
