I agree with Lustor ! The female body only produces milk in expectancy of and preparation for infant feeding. The duration of the lactation though, is not limited to the infant's breastfeeding period, and can last indefinately if her body percieves there is still a need to produce milk.

I had a relationship a while back with a girl whom already had a baby, and had separated from the father. The baby had long since moved on to industrial milk and formulas and such, and when I met her, she was still lactating but in small amounts, her body was shutting down production as it was no longer needed. In response to the first question, how do they produce milk? As I said in the first part - most of these women have had children (you can see some look recently pregnant - or they have the dark line that runs from their bellybutton to the top of the pubic hair - but some may have been induced - I don't know if this is well known in Japan, or any parts of the world for that matter (I had never heard of induced lactation) but I spoke to a Russian woman who told me not only was it true, and that she was doing it, and trying to get her young sister to milk, and that it was a well known Russian secret that women had been doing this since long before WW2 in Russia (see below)

In women who are nulliparous or have never lactated, priming the breast with ethinyl estradiol 50 micrograms 3 times daily, or with 1-time administration of depot medroxyprogesterone acetate 100 mg intramuscularly, is recommended. Preparation of the breast should also be started in advance by using a breast pump for regular stimulation of the nipples.[3]

Galactagogues are medications that can induce or enhance breast milk production and have been used for inadequate milk supply, induced lactation and relactation. The most extensively studied galactagogue, documented to be safe and effective, is metoclopramide (Reglan). Metoclopramide is a central dopamine antagonist that acts to stimulate prolactin release. Recommended dosage options include 10 mg 2 to 4 times daily, followed by a taper rather than abrupt cessation. Potential side effects include fatigue, anxiety, dizziness, diarrhea, and gastric cramping; more rarely, extrapyramidal symptoms or depression may develop. There have been no documented reactions in infants exposed to metoclopramide in breast milk.[6] Chlorpromazine 25 mg 4 times daily can be used as an alternative to or in conjunction with metoclopramide. On rare occasions, when unsuccessful, methyldopa 125 mg 4 times daily may be added.[3]

Domperidone (Motilium) acts as a peripheral dopamine antagonist and also increases serum prolactin and milk yield. My wife used Domperidone and within just two months (along with much simulated nursing on my part) had a very good flow of breast milk. And she was 42 at the time.

It is still a very wonderful part of our marriage now some 3 years on.

i have a question: are the girls with flat bellies in the early stages of pregnancy or have they just given birth and somehow managed to lose all the weight before losing their milk??
normally if they go for some massages after gave birth they can get back their flat bellies. if they dont the belly will be slightly round.
or maybe they using the Induce Technique.
