How to insert images???

Hello driver13,

at this forum we do not insert them in the post, we attach them. It is easy to do...when you reply toa post or start a new post...like you did here, just below where your entered your text message is a section for attaching. Click on the "manage attachments" button and a new window will open up. You will be given 5 opportunities to select image files from your computer. When they are all selected then just click on the "upload" button and wait for the screen to take you back to your post...now with images attached.

ERM...How come when I click on the "message attachment" button below, or the Attachment button above, I see the 2nd IE window 'flash' briefly, but it never comes up? (For that matter, I can't get the [More] smilies to come up either! What am I doing wrong?

To attach pictures, go to the additional options box below the message text box and click the Manage Attachments button. For your smilies, please make sure the Disable smilies in text box is unchecked. See Screen Capture.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but this may be due to a pop-up blocker. (My blocker forces pages that try to pop-up when I click something to load in the current tab, and that's what the attachment manager does. Fortunately I can attach stuff and then go back two pages and my post-in-progress is still intact.)

It'd be nice to have some sort of AJAX replace all the popup shit someday. (That's a request for vBulletin and not a complaint against SLF.)
