Kind of related to the closed thread about using THANKS instead of posting it..

Is it possible for the Scanlover Team to set the Forum's software to only allow posts in the picture sections if they have pictures attached ??

This would cut out the 'Thanks, she's HOT' and 'I'd like to cum on her tits' messages.

Is there a way that those posts would be automatically excluded because they had no picture attached or would it still require a moderator to remove them?

If not then we are in the same boat as at present.

I don't know the tech side of either question/suggestion so I can't help you there.

The THANKS button, along with the Mods, are the simplest way to to cut down the "Thanks', she's hot" type posts.

A brief, well thought out comment is not discouraged in an image thread...& I quote
" Contribute a constructive or useful comment if you feel the need to, but please keep in mind that this a picture post area---more in-depth discussion of a model should be carried out in Idol Institute. Anything less than constructive will be deleted.

Just chill for a while guys...all will be good.

Sometime, the post are relevant. So, it would be bad to remove that option. Anyway, it's not that much of a problem compared to before the "thanks button". Probably the mod just send a message to them and they discover this wonderful option at the same time. So, as the MirrorMan said, just wait.

I checked the functions that available, sorry to say, there's no such feature at the moment.:distressed:

I also believe that vbforum staff won't be consider to create this feature most likely.:full:

Yes, I was hoping that after you click on POST it would just tell you that you cannot post because you have no images attached - but as this feature does not exist, it will stay in the land of fantasy.

It's annoying I know but you just gotta deal with it for now!._.

I'm gonna do my best to delete these messages you see and encourage users to use the thanks button unless they have a good comment to post.

In the meantime just try to ignore them if they bother you okay?

It's very easy to ignore those messages. Just scroll past those messages.

One thing you could try is turning off subscription notifications or switching to weekly subscription notifications. That's what I did so that my mailbox isn't clogged by them and so that I don't get an email for a new post and it's just some guy saying she's hot or the like.

But even if there was a feature such as that that could be implemented, it would probably take effect across the forum and couldn't be specified for specific areas within the forum. So if you were in Idle Chatter, you couldn't post a response unless it contained a picture which is silly or couldn't create a thread unless it contained a picture which is also silly.

But again, the problem lies with the user which we can't control. All we can do is moderate.

(he he he, I keep clicking the wrong thing...Forgive me, I'm a green Moderator!)

But I didn't even think of that prospect Candyman I don't think something like that could be programmed for just one area, either that or it'd take alot of trial and error, and time, that a lot of us don't have.

On Akiba -Online (remove if not appropriate to mention it here), I asked people to use the "Thanks" button, and the next 10 or so responses were from not so smart arses, who then just wrote "Thanks", "gracias" etc, which just proved what ignorant fuckheads they are, so I gave up on them.

We've probably covered all we can on this subject so...time to close this thread.
