I like the fact it resamples the image without stretching the proportions. Must use complex algorithms to remove redundant pixels from the image and then optimize it. Photoshop CS2 does something similar.

Id rather use ifranview, and crop away a section of a photo rather than using the whole cheese. Thats how i made my avatar anyhoo.

I was worried about this happening but it's nice to hear that this software handles this issue. Though it seems strange to use disk space for a minor application like this.

non compatible with macs at this time... sorry... for those members who want to be creative or using macs here is a link you may find helpful with step by step guides..
