View Full Version : Regarding Lolicon.
Although this is more of an issue over at sL-a, I would like to inform all of you of the new laws taking effect as of tomorrow, worldwide. Lolicon is now illegal. It is treated no different than child porn and for each loli image, the user will get 5 years in prison. It would suck if someone goes to prison for life just because they have 20 loli drawings. Not only lolicon does not harm anyone because they are just a bunch of cartoons, but by making it illegal the people who has stayed out of REAL child pornography and stick with cartoons is not going to do so anymore and I very much believe that if somebody decides to risk jail it is certainly not going to be for a bunch of drawings as it would cost the same as having real pictures and probably be more enjoyable for the people who have this tendencies.
To make matters worse there are still countries in the world where lolicon is legal, two of them Spain and Japan, that means citizens of those countries will freely trade with it internationally and even have websites without the USA being able to shut them down as they will be legal in their territory, and there is going to be also lots of people out there who is not going to realise that cartoons depicting underage are illegal.
I predict an increase of REAL child pornography as all the lolicon users turn into consumers of real pictures once they know they are going to risk the same prison sentence than posession of cartoons. Of course the naive people making those laws can still pretend that everyone will shake in fear and stop under threat of being locked up, but then those people understimate the power of the sexual drive and the thousands of people in society who have not much to lose.
So they go and kill lolicon in the hope that child porn will go down with it
Good luck!
The Criminal Justice and Public Order Bill 1994 is Undemocratic, Unjustifiable and Dangerous, Submission to the UK Commons Home Affairs Committee, Avedon Carol, Feminists Against Censorship, 1994
"It is assumed by some that paedophilia and child pornography play an overwhelmingly important role in child abuse. On the contrary, experts on paedophilia and experts on child abuse agree that most abuse is performed by people who have no interest in child pornography and are not paedophiles. It has been found that the presence of child pornography does not correlate with child abuse, and that abusers in general are less likely to possess commercial pornography than are other men in the general population. There is absolutely no evidence that child pornography causes child abuse. Claims to the contrary are based on rumour alone and are contradicted by all documented clinical, law enforcement or academic evidence.
