What do you mean by that? I'm downloading it at a speed of 5k/s. And I can only download some 50Mb a day because of an international download limit that reigns in my country. (yeah that's right. In Portugal, you have a miserable 2Gb international download limit. for each 100Mb extra you pay €1.5...) :roll:

Yeah... Tell me about it... I already stopped dowloading the torrent as I already surpassed the limit by 600Mbs. I hope that I can found some seeds in November. Surely, you guys can help me out. :thankyou:

BitComet has a preview option which will allow you to view incomplete torrents, and the VLC Player will play anything, including incomplete torrents. a word of warning tho: unless you've got most of the torrent complete, don't bother, cos yr vid will be full of corrupted/missing data.

but if yr at >95% complete, then yep, try BitComet preview or VLC Player.

Guys, if you have a partial d/l of a vid file, you can "reindex" it so your player doesn't get hung up on the bad parts. I use DivFix which will work on some .avi files (especially ones with DivX/MP3 codec). (this is after you shut down bitcomet and remove the ".bc!" from the end of the filename)
Go d/l and install this, it's free:

Run it, click Add Files, click on your vid file, click Rebuild Index

Thanks for that link. It looks like it would do the trick. For some reason even though I changed the name to .avi instead of .bc it still comes up as a .bc

This means that the program won't open it. Probably a simple matter of figuring out how to properly rename it on my part.

At 98.6 it still plays quite well in divx player just with the odd glitch.

Yes, you can usually view most .wmv's and .avi's, and I stress usually, after about 50%, sometimes a little less, sometimes it takes over 90% before a vid will run by itself. .mpgs (1 & 2) will run on even less, but .mov's won't run till near 100%. What will let a partially downloaded vid file run is if the first few lines of the vid file have been downloaded which contains the video index, which tells the player what type of file it is, the codec, encoded rate, etc. To try it, shut down bitcomet, remove the ".bc!" from the end of the filename in windows explorer, and try to run it, usually VLC works better than media player. Just be sure you put the ".bc!" back on the end of the filename before you restart bitcomet or you will lose all you have downloaded on that file...

very good explanation enigma...in short, we have to shut down bitcomet & removed the .bc from the file each time we wanna to view tat entire uncomplete file & add bek the .bc to the file whenever we wan to resume the download or we will lost everything...correct me if i'm wrong...

Actually, you can also just hit the "Stop" button on that individual d/l in Bitcomet while your other d/l's keep going, go find the file, remove the .bc! and try to play it, then add the .bc! back on before you restart the d/l.
