I am trying to imagine how awful "Saving Private Ryan" would have been if it focused on a platoon of British Troops. It would be rubbish. I know this because Hollywood has spent the last 60 years telling me that only American WW2 soldiers were heroic and cool, and British troops were badly dressed incompetant cowards with Dick Van Dyke style 'British' accents, and officers who all sounded like Hugh Grant :-)

Uh, no. I'm not going to send it to you. I don't think you'd get much out of the film, to be honest. It focuses more on people living lives of quiet desperation, rather than the hilarity of pie fucking. uh...not sure if u were talkin' about the United State of America there or America as a continent but our country is the most diversfied one in the world, hate to break it to you but the language, the food, house, clothes, music, believes...on and on.....everything in the US is made up an unique culture a MULTICULTURE. I agree, it's a much more enlightened, not to mention interesting, look at suburban culture... One of the more intelligent movies I've seen coming out of the mainstream.
