Does anyone know why I'd be getting really bad speeds on this?
I'm using utorrent which I am a noob with and don't know much about it.
I'm connected to 1 seed and 6 peers. My DL rate hovers beneath 5 kB/s, when it's usually a lot higher.
On the General tab in utorrent, the tracker URL is constantly circulating through a list of invalid/inactive trackers. What does that mean?

I should be glad I'm getting this at all, it's the first torrent I've tried that will actually download instead of giving me an error message. Using Bitcomet doesn't help.


If anyone can help me I'd appreciate it. I didn't see any kind of torrent help thread on the site, just someone advising to post in the particular torrent thread.

yr not doing anything wrong: if yr getting no download speed, chances are the seeders yr getting from have either limited their upload speeds, or are seeding other things more heavily than this.

most of the trackers we list here are, frankly, shite: they spend large amounts of time inactive or down or not responding. but hey, they're public trackers, what else can you expect? make sure you have DHT enabled in yr utorrent (options -> preferences -> torrent options -> Enable DHT *and* Enable DHT for new torrents) so that even if the crap trackers are down, again, you can access any seeds that might still be available.

I had DHT disabled as it is frowned upon on my regular torrent site (share ratio issues I think).
I'll enable it for this torrent and see what happens.
