I don't know about everyone else but, does anyone feel that idols/gravure idols or any young girls who get into porn throw their life away? I don't know, I just feel that they should do something, well, a little less immoral. I mean, most idols who get into that are so beautiful and when I see them getting into porn well, they just throwing their life away, in my opinion. I know watching that is kind of like supporting them so I've kind of decided not to watch porn anymore. I just feel sad that that's happening to such beautiful girls.

. . . I just feel that they should do something, well, a little less moral . . . .

less moral . . . . don't you mean more moral?

yeah, i do feel that way but it's their life. i am going to just take advantage of it and appreciate their work in my life, in my own way.

not watching porn if you like it and still feel this way is like passing a 100 dollar bill on the ground because you feel sorry for the guy who lost it. the fact that it's there isnt going to change so you might as well pick it up and enjoy it. why let everyone else have all of the fun?

besides, your moral qualms about porn are probably really symptoms of your own issues about sex . . . .

Oops, yeah, that's what I meant. I actually meant to say less immoral. And yes, it is their life, I agree with you on that. But still...I'm just worried that their might not be women in the future for us who want to get married someday. Yeah, it sounds kind of dumb but I don't know. I just feel that way.

If the day comes that every single woman is in the porn industry then I don't think mankind deserves to survive, anyway.

East meets west. In the west we had Popes who, when they weren't having heretics flayed alive or sodomizing altar boys (See Inquisition), telling us sex was filthy and fornicators would go to hell.

In the east, Sex was and is seen as something natural. It doesn't come with all the hangups and emotional baggage that we grow up with in the west. There's no stimga with casual sex or sleeping around. In Japan you'll see pr0n actresses suddenly switch to dramas or a talk show. So being a porn actress doesn't carry the same baggage (in Japan at least) than it does in the West.

Caveats: The Japanese Mafia seems to be a player in the J Porno industry. See the guy bonking Minori Aoi with a Japanese flag tattoo on his arm? That marks him as a right-wing nationalist which are linked to the Mafia. There are also drugs in Japan too. Look at Mai Haruna. In her later photo shoots she clearly has a lots of needle track marks in her arm. You'll find attitudes change across Japan too. What goes in Tokyo won't go in a small village.

PS. Dyka. Your new photo makes you look very Obi Won (the Ewan McGregor edition) :-)

Isn't it just a matter of degree, or how you define "immoral"? I assume you are on this board because you like idols, but not pr0n actresses. And I assume you like idols because of their looks, so in effect they are still selling their body in a way (I'm sure a lot of people have fantasies about idols). Would it not have been better, or more "moral", for these idols to use their brains and become doctors, engineers, or lawyers (well, perhaps not) instead?

Although I do not agree with their choice of profession but doing AV for a living is at least an honest profession, I mean they didn't cheat anyone. Same thing can not be said about the large number of politicians that people so respect !!

Interesting that you've already stated that you won't be watching porn because you feel sorry that the girls doing it are throwing their lives away. Sounds to me like you are the one with the moral hang-up; me thinks there is a skeleton in your closet! Trust me, your not watching porn in order to not contribute to the immorality of these girls will be no more effective than my decision to watch as much porn as I want since I choose not to judge their morality. I sometimes won't see any porn for a month or so, so by your logic I am actually hurting the girls by depriving them of their income. Wherever your opinions take you, such is life, but keep in mind that so many of these j-girls are very cute and full of life. If they decide to pose nude or slob up and down on some guy's meat, they are expressing their riight to live as they see fit. After all, we all seem to be attracted to these little nymphs, so why not enjoy them for their beauty and passion for life. Until that time, I suggest you download a clothed picture of your favorite J-Girl, and save it as a background. Then admire it while you contemplate the reasons for your guilt-trip, and hopefully conquor or at least identify the true reason for your problems. Confucious say: "It is better to light one tiny candle than to curse the darkness."

Good point, Cyan! Lawyers, Real Estate, Investment Bankers, Politicians and Executives who vote themselves million dollar salary packages at the expense of shareholders and or screw over the public, are all less ethical professionals than being a porn actress.

good quote

by the way, in china/hk/taiwan, many those that run the porn industries are like drug traffickers- with criminal connections (loansharks work with them to force some into prostituion. in hk EEG's boss is rumored to have connections to criminal activity in indirect ways and known to sell female artists for sex for connections and his own pleasure)
so much for twins, joey, carina, grace yip, yumiko (all known to have stories about)

however i've also heard that jp AV actresses actually get/earns respect from people
is that true? cuz if it is, i think that's very nice of the people. after all, being in porn doesnt mean they arent human. technically doesnt make 'em any less of who they are. i can even say, an AV actress with good heart is better than a billionaire that owns sweatshops and child labour industries
so yes, i give my support to AV actresses. it's also a way for us to show support and respect (even if we do/dont watch their stuff) that they arent low and all that others have prejudice/spit on them for. they actually did something others wont do... maybe we should be nice n acknowledge they are very daring professionals for their job with bravery

maybe wut i've said sounds too noble, but there are times when we want others' support 2 live on

only differences, to me, about being in porn, is when the issues of the content is controversial and immoral beyond "the standards", like beastry

I trust that these girls are old enough to decide what to do. It is at the very least a honest job, unlike the drug lords or those in the child sex industry. However, I do worry what these girls can do for a living after they retire from the AV industry. I doubt that the money they earn will last.

yeah, it's weird when they get into this kind of business. a lot of them are desperate for money, i suppose.

Big money, fast fame, a close-knit supportive industry (at least in the beginning) and you get a potent cocktail that many models can't resist. We are talking about some pretty young girls here who may not be as objective as they should be.

I don't know if any of you guys notice but I saw a few films where the actor thanked the actress. There was this one film where a girl got flowers at the end of a scene.

the girls in the av industry are doing something immoral, but money talks. i am sure most of them are not force in to it, the moment they accepted the paycheck they knew what is coming at them.

i still think tat porn is wrong, im sure tat if these gurlz get another chance at life they would hav chose a different career. i believe that some of them were forced into the industry. I heard from my history class how people go to poor countries and say to girls we hav a job for you in America and then later they turned them into prostitutes.

I don't know where you are from, but it sounds as though there is a bit of bias on the part of your teachers or professors. It's true, I'm sure, that the situations you mention do occur in the states. Prostitution however, is not condoned or legal in the states, as it is in some other countries, which is where, I have to believe, most of these girls would be taken. Just my opinion.
Also, morality is something that varies immensely from one country to another, and I am sick of having politicians and alleged religious leaders trying to force feed their version of morality (which doesn't usually apply to them) down my throat.
