They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. -- Benjamin Franklin.
Yeah, I always liked Franklin. Or a lot of what he said. |

http://www.techdirt.com/articles/20120720/11510719777/obama-talks-toxic-clouds-runaway-trains-real-cybersecurity-solution-is-still-simple-obvious.shtml
I'm not sure if this is for CISPA or this particular cyber-security bill, but I'll put it here. CISPA is basically about privatising spying etc. Basically Obama goes off on why we need cyber-security bills to protect our critical infrastructure due to how hackers claimed they broke into private system to derail a train and when that was in an accident it spread toxic clouds that had to shut down some water stations for some areas due to poisoned water. How about you tell these fucking companies who run the critical infrastructure to NOT CONNECT IT TO THE MOTHER FUCKING INTERNET. That'd be simple right, that'd be what should be done. That'd solve that. <Tinfoil Hat / Conspiracy Time> What if the hackers are the governments around the world, and these critical infrastructures have been left connected on purpose so these hackings can be done on purpose so as they can draft laws to give themselves even more power and control and enslave us to our Babylonian/NWO masters by taking away more privacy rights, more liberties and freedoms from us < /Tinfoil Hat / Conspiracy Time> No, that'd be crazy. That sounds too much like that crazy fucking guy, what's his name. Alex Jones. Yeah, Alex Jones, that crazy nut job. /sarcasm |

lol who calls alex jones a conspiracy theorist ? most of what he said has or is coming true . maybe your right about the government hackers doing that on purpose maybe in reality they anaonymously hire hackers to do blah blah job for blah blah money , remember its a fact that its easier to stage a false attack with alot of money and power than it is to point at a real case and say thats why we need cyber security .

Lot's of people talk about him as a conspiracy theorist and nut job, sadly. They think what he says is crazy and would never happen in America. I wasn't saying I think he's a whacko. |

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/07/23/cybersecurity-bill_n_1695185.html
At the end of this week the Senate is going to vote on a bill concerning cyber security. Experts say that it still leaves America open to attacks. Of course it does, just like the goddamned TSA isn't about protecting anyone. It's all lies to seize power, turn America into a police state greater than any other empire in history and lie to everyone. These are the damned days the fore fathers were warning us about and why they wrote certain things they did to prepare us and keep us aware, but many don't give a shit. They're just happy to throw away their liberties, freedoms and rights thinking our glorious government is going to take care of everything. And when it hits the fan, the ones calling the 'conspiracy theorists' "conspiracy theorists" are going to be the first complaining they want their freedom back. |

instead of introducing this bill again senates need to look at WHY all these hacks and threats are happening , and then solve the problem as to WHY they are happening . example why does anonymous hack ? because our freedoms are being taken away by the ppl they choose to target , so to solve the problem , give us back our freedoms !! NOT enforce more security !

http://www.techdirt.com/articles/20120727/10461519857/next-week-senate-fights-over-whether-it-can-take-away-your-online-privacy.shtml
The Senate wants to push this bill quickly and has made it clear they're done talking about it, so next week it's being voted on. Now they're basically going over a slew of amendments to the Bill and McCain is spearheading many himself that will basically take virtually ALL ONLINE PRIVACY away. He is the NSA's cheerleader, or as I would say, their bitch, and is wanting all information to go to the NSA, not Homeland Security. A big debate now is whether the NSA or Homeland Security is put in charge of the information involved here. |

Now's the time to speak against the bill. It seems most of the amendments to it are being ignored sadly except the Paul / Franken one that addresses Privacy Protections for us citizens. |
