HAHAHAHAH Dyka you finally get to go to my homeland... well if youre going to be with school and stuff I have some things that you can do to pass time and have fun..
Drilla's Guide to Dyka for Fun in Korea 1) Go to Seoul and visit, Kang Nam Yuk, or Ahp Goo Jung...They are the busiest and livliest places in korea, with the most celebrities and prettiest damn girls!!!! oh believe it I did a study there hahahaah 2) Lee Tae Won, its the only place I can get clothes being a 6'4 korean when I go visit Korea, and there are lots of Americans there with places to shop. You are american so if you miss home you can go to the base and get pizza that taste better than anything you will eat in korea. 3) If you have money and a place to go with extra time take a trip from kim po airport to Jae Ju Island. Its really nice and a hotel I recommend is Lotte, I went there during the Summer and it was beautiful.. 4) I dunno what types of food you like but when in Korea since the food is extremely cheap these are some things you can eat that are my favorites and the best made in Korea. A) DakGgot Chi - Seasoned Chicken on stick usually sold on the streets b) Sullung Tang - Meat, oxtail soup etc c) Jam pong- Red Noodle soup d) Jja Jang Myun - brown sauce noodles e) Gam Ja Tang- potato meat soup f) Chik neng myun - since its the summer this cold buckwheat noodle dish is my absolute favorite g) Sam Gak Kim bap - sold at 7/11 they are triangle rice balls!!!! amazing h) Dduhk bok gi- Spicy as hell but awesome I) If you like Ramyun go to a ramyun house and order from hundreds of dishes they are tasty! Food to avoid- Living in NJ/NY pizza is only good here and don't get it in korea, its sucks!!! along with hamburgers cause they the size of pea. There is a lot more but you can explore for yourself on what tastes u like the most 5) If you like electronics, depending on where you are when you go into seoul ask to go visit technomart its a huge building with multiple floors with everything technology, anyone in need of mp3, etc this place rocks. 6) Your still not old enough, but I guess In korea you will be fine, ask someone to take you to Room Salon, they have girls hotter than Hyo ri but its gonna cost you over a $1000 to drink and do extra with them. 7) There are many malls there but one interesting thing is midnight shopping at Milgore I think I spelt that wrong but its Nam Dae Moon Shi Jang. its interesting with lots of cheap things. 8) Its hot as fuck in korea like to the point where you want to kill yourself, the humidity is awful, but you can beat that by going to amusement parks/water parks. Try Everland, Lotte World, and Carribean Bay. 9) Unless you are in a busy city like Kang Nam, or Ahp Goo Jung your not gonna see out of this world hotties, there are lots of students and if you are planning to see hotties everywhere you go, you are in for a shock. 10) If you happen to like sushi, sashimi, you can go to various places to eat fresh fish, of course but places like Busan and Dae Goo provide the best even though they are far away from you. 11) If you want to go to MBC which is in Yuido where my aunt lives, she lives right behind MBC studio so you can visit there and stand outside and wait for celebrities ahahahahah, if not tv is everywhere. 12) For video games there is this place in Seoul, I forgot the name Ill get it for you if you want, but I got my ps2 modied there and they have tons of video games and movies, its crazy and cheap, esp video cards, so if you want Ill get you the name. Other than that everything else is on you man, have fun!!!!!!!!!!! Korea is great, well to me it is cause its my home, and the girls make me smile hahahaha *****REMEMBER***** THE HOTTEST GIRLS ARE AT KANG NAM AND AHP GOO JUNG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hope this helps you alittle.

I'll definitely be reviewing your guide as August nears. Maybe I'll print it out.

Hehe good guide drilla, but I beg to differ on this point. At least when I was in Kurye (which is a small city in South Cholla Province), I saw so many beautiful girls... A bit more country-like, that's for sure, and not as sophisticated as the Seoul girls, but definitely with a more down to earth beauty about them. They might not be scanlover type beauties, but I was blown away anyway... I dunno, maybe I'm partial for those type of simple beauties.

Have fun!
That sounds like a terrific opportunity!
Make the best of it, and don't get too wrapped up in staring at women or working too obsessively. Last edited by fri2219; 05-10-2007 at 01:36 PM. Reason: Poor grammar |

Well, August is here, my flight is booked, and I'm almost ready for departure to Daegu. Now, I reread your guide, drilla19, and over the summer I've been told by guys and girls alike (even hot girls) that Daegu is loaded with hot girls. Any opinions on that?
Also, my Korean is actually half-decent for my level. I plan to study some more over my short break. I leave on August 21, which is this coming Tuesday. Lastly, you folks may notice that I have a new avatar and signature right now. This avatar will likely stay the same for the rest of the year unless I get something good going. I'm going to load my flash drive up with Portable Apps, so maybe GIMP will save the day with a new avatar. My signature will change just before I leave. In fact I've already made it, and I'm sure you'll all love it. :P I got an A in my class, by the way. The 12 credits it was worth brought my GPA up by 0.38 points. 15 more this year! But in the fall it's 3 classes (9, 3, 3) instead of one. I bet a lot of you forgot I was even going.

maddog says enjoy yourself
From reading all this, appears that you are not going to North Korea, interesting place from what I read, the Kims enjoy god like status up there in the so called "workers paradise". Maybe you can get some "ader booze" in South Korea...its the one with the dead snake in it...
