An Introduction to ScanLover Blog

I have the pleasure of introducing to you our new ScanLover Community Blog on Asian Beauty Appreciation. On this blog, we plan on bringing you the latest news on your favorite idols, video releases, reviews, and forum updates.

Let me start off by introducing the current members of the blog team:


Administrator:

scanlover - I'm the administrator and my involvement will generally be restricted to the technical parts of the blog. ie. To make sure the web servers and database servers are working properly, as well as updating wordpress when necessary and adding new functionalities to it.


Editors:

Candyman - I will be serving as an editor/contributor for the blog. I will also be providing forum updates and bringing attention to content within the forum that you may not be aware of, and the blog format makes it easy for me to do so.

My area of expertise is Asian-American models, pornstars, and Thai models, but I try to stay knowledgeable in a wide array of topics.

Dyka - I'm really good at English grammar. I'm somewhat adept at the Korean language and still studying, so should a juicy Korean article appear I will be able to translate it.

ryuuga - One of the first batch of the pioneers in SLF's Idol Institute & Adult Advocacy section. Currently is the latest admin of SLF.

My role for the blog is editor/contributor. My expertise is to obtain scoop news (old or latest) of JAV/gravure industry. The source is from various japanese/chinese bbs plus my own analysis.


Columnists:

Darth Demon - I'm a member who regularly follows around the news site and tends to keep up to date. By contributing the news relating to few sites that I go too that includes here too before the blog.

My role for the blog currently are contributor/editor since I am around for both daily. My expertise is that I had done at least 4 months of news contributor for a former site before even coming to SLF. It was a different type of database (7 yrs ago) & before blog becomes popular. Also I do a some news contributing at another forum too.

JustMeMike2 - Author of JustMeMike's New Also on Video website, an ongoing blog specializing in Japanese Gravure Idols, also with articles on Art, Travel, and Movies.

My Column Also on Video began in November of 1997 and has been hosted on a few websites before becoming a free standing website with it's own domain in December of 2008.

For this blog, my area of expertise will be Japanese Gravure Idol DVDs with an occasional foray into Japanese Television Drama Series that are available on DVD that feature some good looking Japanese actresses.

omfgwtf - SLF contributor, torrent hunter, and big fan of the JAV industry

In this Blog my area of work will be JAV oriented: news, stats, and facts about this huge industry


As this is a community blog, we also allow the ability for members to write and submit their own posts to the blog. You can submit your own posts by registering an account within the blog. From there, you will have the ability to write a post. Once your post is approved by an editor, it will then go onto the blog.

If you are interested in submitting posts on a regular basis, then you should consider becoming one of our regular columnists which will give you the ability to create your own posts without having to wait for approval.
