Thats easy, with our better organization and 'working' search function, I can find and scan all my daily JAV needs in 5 minutes, whereas at A-O I would be spending hours staring at that mess of confusion ...and wading through all the ads and pop ups all over the place.

The thumbnails really helps here too. I'd be finished scanning all my SLF daily torrents in the same time it took waiting for all the COVER images to load in a single long Javtalk or bananaboy thread.

So to answer, our efficiency, allows us to get in, get out, fast, and less online time.

I don't know AO well, but from what Ryuuga says, it sounds like a high percentage of their traffic is just leechers. So perhaps Scanlover gets more quality traffic, with less leechers taking up resources. If that's the case, the I'd say Scanlover is better off that AO. Of course they may be able to generate more ad revenue, but if most of their traffic are leechers looking for free stuff, I'm guessing their ads don't convert too well anyways.

You can't be series. AO as in Akiba-Online? I had an account there for a while, and I never spend as half as much time there as I do here on scanlover. But that is beside the point. Jr. IV movies? Aren't those illegal and further more just wrong. I thought that stuff would definitely be consider child porn.

Not sure about other countries. But in Japan, Jr idol is considered as one kind of the gravure business, so it's 100% legal in there. Not to mention that a lot of popular gravure idols that you could see now in SLF were basically starting their career long before 18 yrs old. For example, Miu Nakamura, Ryo Shihono, Shizuka Nakamura, Yui Minami etc. Not only gravure idols, some popular AV girls like Mai Hagiwara, Haruka Itoh, Megu Fujiura, Ayay Fujimoto & Sakura Aida are also coming from this Jr industry. It's pretty normal in this Japanese gravure business.

Also, I guess you didn't know this yet since I can see that your response is kind of shocking. SLF used to have Jr section in the first place back in few years ago. However, some SLF users couldn't accept it and they againsted the idea, so that's why it was switched to A-O and developed in there.

So AO has DMM Ads? Heh.. That contradicts with the content posted there.. Why go to DMM when you can get most videos for free? The only well-known torrent poster I know of that still posts at AO is cedar87. I also have complation threads there for several actresses.. Though I stopped due to burn-out (it's hard to get all torrents for a single actress, especially Nao Ayukawa and Yua Aida!).



When it comes to user access restriction, I find that SLF's way of banning certain countries from browsing is better. In a way, JAV is losing a lot more money when the target market is pirating the movies themselves. And several countries I know of consume way too much bandwidth. The males from the said place post forced sex videos online (I saw several on YouTube). Maybe they think it's "normal"? I'll never go for a vacation there. Anyways, I'm gettin' OT.

Although I may sound like an ass, I also dislike unintelligible posts at AO. e.g. Asking for a reseed when I clearly stated that I'm just a reposter; "thank you" posts that can't even spell 'thank you' right. Maybe that's just me.

I post my DDLs there but i never browse there, the organisation is a clusterfuck. I sometimes use the search if i can't find something here but that's about it.

Quality over quantity is what's great about scanlover And i love the well structured torrent posts of omfgwtf, samishii, and akemi, can't find that anywhere else!

Thank you for that helpful and informative response. I remember seeing Miu Nakamura's Jr. Videos on youtube, and even the people there gave the videos a hard time even thought they couldn't even tell she was 15, I guess when you mention it now, It doesn't seem that bad. So was Avel exaggerating a bit when he said 8 year olds, because I have seen some of those videos advertised in Japan where these girls look like they're 11 and under.
