Troubleshooting
Q1) I am stuck at 99.8%. There is no peer nor any seed out there. What should I do? Q2) I downloaded the video. However, I can't play it. What should I do? Q3) I encountered an error of invalid path when opening the torrent with a client. The download never starts. What should I do? |

Leaving aside re-seeding, you can still view the unfinished video file(s) with media players such as VLC player, Mplayer etc, provided that the media file isn't zipped. BitComet 0.60 also has a preview function that allows you to view unfinished media file. An alternative way to view unfinished media files is to delete the .bc! extension (for Bitcomet users only). It's necessary to disable the function which hides file extensions before deleting the .bc! extension. Step 1) Tools > folder options > view > check "view hidden files and folders" Step 2) Delete the .bc! extension by renaming the file. In both cases, appropriate codecs, if any, should be installed to be able to play the media files. P.S. BitComet adds .bc! for incomplete file by default. You can disable it in the preferences. |
