I can't login either.

I'm using my Username/Password from the Forums, do I need to register for Scanlover.com itself also?

Even if I do, I find it impossible, as it deny my access anyway.

The SL Forum username/password cannot be used for ScanLover.com, and vice versa.

It's the strangest thing. I can't log in from my home in Thousand Oaks, CA, but I go to work 3 miles away in Westlake Village, CA no problem. What's up with that? Are certain provider servers also blacklisted? I go through Time Warner at home. Are Time Warner servers blacklisted? It sucks that I might have to remote a computer in a different state just to get the site at home. I just wish the webmaster would have just posted a message saying, "Go away bums. You're whole country is denied access." Perhaps the webmaster could give the rest of the world a second chance by stating up front that if you don't contribute you'll be shut out.

Cool!!! I Just remoted to my home computer and got on. Reset my password and I'm in like Flink. That answered a few questions. Talk to you guys later.

i dont understand, why sometimes when i open scanlover.com, it usually said .. under construction ????

The main site has banned several countries, perhaps your country is one of them. Which country do you come from?

Hm...looks like I'll need to register to Scanlover directly.

But isn't that a bit impossible, since North America is most likely blocked, and so, I guess I'll need to leave the country to register?

If NA isn't blocked...then I don't know what's going on.

I'm in California and it isn't banned.

I'm pretty sure the ban is per ISP, or rather IP block, and not by "country" (because this would require storing all IP blocks for a given country, not an easy thing to do, especially for the US). And yes, there are some ISPs in NA that are banned, I know because I am on one. Your only choice is to use a proxy.

You might be living in a state that is being blocked by scanlover.
