Looking for Asian film forum recommendations - ScanLover Forum

Does anyone here post in or know about any good forums (written in English) dedicated to Asian films? They can even be about just one specific country's output, but since I enjoy films from many of them I'd prefer a more general "Asian" focus. I know of many decent general film forums, but I'd like to go where I can talk with others who are as obsessed with this area as I am.

http://www.jdorama.com/ is also a nice enough community for asian films, but tv dramas take presidence.

Awesome! Thanks very much for your help. I've heard of FSC before, but didn't even think to look at the forums. Do you post in any of these?

Oh, and Korean film is my latest addiction, so I'll definitely check out the first link.

i'm a big fan of asiandvdclub.org - altho it's only just recently come back from being offline for months, so the foums are a bit sparse at the moment.

visit lovehkfilm.com. It is a website mainly comprised of HK movie reviews, but there is also some pan-asian movie reviews as well. Of course, their website also has a BBS function. http://pub48.ezboard.com/blovehkfilm

another website called Snowblood Apple is also an Asian movie review site, although what they review though is (mostly) not mainstream Asian movies but what they call "extreme Asian cinema"; movies of Takashi Miike, Guinea Pig series, some Park Chan Wook movies, Uzumaki and the like. http://p081.ezboard.com/bkungfufandom is pretty good too.

Mandi apple`s site is great, it`s not just for the more extreme stuff and the people there are friendly.

You guys are lifesavers. I'm a big fan of Miike, Park Chan-wook and Uzumaki-ish stuff, so I'll certainly give Mandiapple a look.

KFCCinema writes great DVD reviews, I often go there before buying anything.
